At the end of September, the top 100 executives and managers of the ORIOR Group met in Zurich. The new motto on the way to 2020 launched on the eve of the 25th anniversary celebration was taken up again at the ORIOR management workshop by CEO Daniel Lutz: "Make the difference".
Daniel Lutz opened the conference with a comprehensive retrospective, followed by a critical examination of the implementation of the goals and strategic cornerstones as well as an outlook on the core themes of the next three years. The presentation of ORIOR CFO Ricarda Demarmels stated how a strategy can be implemented correctly. Essentially these three factors are important: the strategy is clearly communicated and understood, carried by all and measured regularly.
After a delicious lunch with ORIOR specialties, including the new all-natural vegetable soups from Culinor, specially imported from Belgium, Filip de Spiegeleire, CEO of the Culinor Food Group, spoke about the “road to innovation”. In an exciting, instructive speech, the innovation process at Culinor was presented. Filip emphasized that successful innovations can only arise when the topic of innovation is deeply embedded in the corporate culture and is lived by everyone, top down and bottom up.
A varied and inspiring day was rounded off with the reflection of the various managing directors on the implementation of the strategy in the individual business units, followed by Daniel Lutz's motivating final word.
